Saratoga sinner injured

Saratoga sinner(Harlan's Holiday) was found out to have a bone chip in his left knee off his victory in the Holy Bull stakes last Saturday. He earned a 96 Beyer speed figure for his win in the Holy Bull. Saratoga sinner will be leaving for Kentucky and have surgery. His trainer had this to say. "He has a lot of things that you look for as a three-year-old at this time of year. I think he could have continued on and improved enough to be a force in the Florida Derby [G1],” Kenneally said. “Certainly, he showed a lot of what you want to see in a young horse at this time of year. It’s just bad timing, but he will come back and hopefully we can start again.”
“He was a major improving horse, which is what you need this time of year,” Kenneally said. “I knew that when I stretched him out he was going to be a nice horse. And sure enough, when I stretched him out in his first start he ran a huge race, and then he followed up with another big race."
Kenneally has said he should be back for a late summer and fall campaign with the injury not being career threatening.
