Lots of winning longshots this weekend huh? I'm really disappointed with Awesome Gem. Thought that race would have been easy for him. Magical Fantasy, Just Jenda and Goldikova did make up for that though with their wins. I'm absolutely tickled pink with Better Talk Now's performance. I've always been on his bandwagon and even though he didn't win second is pretty good for a guy his age.

Better Talk Now has really turned around his career. I saw him in the Manhattan on Belmont Stakes Day and he was amazing. Rachel and Summer Bird might run against each other in the Travers...Quality Road might show up too and he can probably get the distance...should be something!

I think he might be turning a corner. I hope so. : ) I can't wait till the Travers. Though I'm kinda hoping that Rachel goes to the Woodward and faces older males. Winning that would secure her Horse of the Year if it's a decent field.
ReplyDeleteAre you talking about breeds of horses? If so I've always liked Arabians, Quarabs and just plain Quarter Horses. But every horse is different so it's hard to say.
